Coaching
I have been a business and leadership coach to CEOs, managing directors, and board members of large public and private companies for twenty years.
Inspired by the MIT dialogue project und John Heron’s six-category-interventions, I have developed an approach to coaching that plays to typical strengths of top managers: Their focus on targets and solutions, their cognitive capability, and their orientation to processes. Often using a technique called “catalytic intervention”, I support my clients in self-directed development through the broadening of horizons and activation of inner strengths.
Typical coaching themes:
- Onboarding into new CEO, MD or board role;
- Managing upwards, downwards, and laterally;
- Development and enrichment of leadership styles portfolio;
- Setup, composition, development, and motivation of top teams;
- Further development of organizational culture;
- Stronger impact and influence in complex, politically loaded leadership situations;
- Understanding organizational culture and politics;
- Complex stakeholder management (supervisory boards, holding boards, committees, Owners etc.);
- Strategic conflict management.
As the European Leadership & Talent Practice Leader at global management consultancy Hay Group, I was in charge for the coaching practice and trained as a coach in the UK and Canada. At Hay Group, I acquired Executive Coaching Credentials Level 3-4 (Executive Coach at C-suite Level || Global Expertise and Thought Leader in Executive Coaching).
